This step-by-step guide will walk you through the process of creating automatic Pause Campaign rules for NewsBreak Traffic source.<\/p>\n

  1. To create a Pause Campaign rule simply go to\u00a0Rules<\/strong>\u00a0in the left-side panel of your screen and then select\u00a0+ New Rule<\/strong>\u00a0then select\u00a0Pause Campaign<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Enter a\u00a0rule name<\/strong>. The rule name does not have to be unique, however we suggest adding a self-explanatory name for easier identification.<\/li>\n
  3. Select an existing group or create a new one \u2013 Not mandatory.Using rule groups will help you keeping your rules well-organized for later use.<\/em><\/li>\n
  4. In the\u00a0Considering data from<\/strong>\u00a0select the statistics interval based on which rules will check if conditions are met to trigger the rule\u2019s action.This can be set to:\u00a0Today<\/em>,\u00a0Yesterday<\/em>,\u00a0Last 3 Days<\/em>,\u00a0Last 14 Days, Last 30 Days<\/em>,\u00a0Last 60 Days<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0Last 90 Days<\/em>.\n

    Additional explanation \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>When selecting Today the rule will look only on current day performance and check if the triggering conditions are met or not. While when selecting Last 7 Days, the rule will look on the last 7 days\u2019 performance and check if the triggering conditions are met or not.<\/li>\n

  5. Specify one or more rule\u00a0conditions<\/strong>.For each of the conditions included in a rule, you need to specify a threshold value that will trigger a rule action.\n

    When adding conditions to your rules you can use one of the four available comparison operators:\u00a0Greater<\/em>,\u00a0Less<\/em>,\u00a0Greater or Equal<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0Less or Equal<\/em><\/p>\n

    Important Note! \u2013\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Please note that multiple conditions within a rule are related to each other (this means that all conditions should be met for a rule action to be triggered).
    \nIn case you would like to trigger rule actions on independent metrics (which one of the conditions is first met), please create a separate rule.<\/p>\n

  6. In the\u00a0Apply rule to these selected campaigns<\/strong>\u00a0specify the campaigns on which you want this rule to run.<\/li>\n
