The process is very similar for all traffic sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>Step 1:<\/strong> Click on <strong>Account Wizard<\/strong> on the left-side menu of your screen.<br><strong>Step 2:<\/strong> Select one of the previously connected traffic source accounts and click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<br><strong>Step 3:<\/strong> Click the <strong>Add New<\/strong> button in the <em>Tracker Setup <\/em>step of the account wizard and then enter the required information.<br><strong>Step 4: <\/strong>Select <strong>Google Analytics<\/strong> 4, enter a nickname for your GA4 connection<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"504\" height=\"369\" src=\"https:\/\/theoptimizer.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-967\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theoptimizer.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image.png 504w, https:\/\/theoptimizer.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-300x220.png 300w, https:\/\/theoptimizer.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-50x37.png 50w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 504px) 100vw, 504px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you click <strong>Save<\/strong>, you will be redirected to your Google account login page where you will have to grant access to TheOptimizer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"350\" height=\"387\" class=\"wp-image-457\" style=\"width: 350px;\" src=\"https:\/\/theoptimizer.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/95.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theoptimizer.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/95.png 371w, https:\/\/theoptimizer.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/95-271x300.png 271w, https:\/\/theoptimizer.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/95-45x50.png 45w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enter your Google account credentials following the on-screen instructions, then click Allow to allow TheOptimizer.io to view your Google Analytics 4 data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"350\" height=\"499\" class=\"wp-image-458\" style=\"width: 350px;\" src=\"https:\/\/theoptimizer.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/96.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theoptimizer.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/96.png 369w, https:\/\/theoptimizer.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/96-210x300.png 210w, https:\/\/theoptimizer.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/96-35x50.png 35w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the authorization process is finished, you will be redirected back to the Account Wizard page with the newly added Google Analytics 4 account pre-selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click <strong>Next<\/strong> to move to the next step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the final step of the Account wizard, you need to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Select the GA4 Account<\/strong> (if you have more than 1)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Select GA4 Property<\/strong>: select which GA property under the selected account you want to connect<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Select Metrics:<\/strong> select which GA4 metrics you want TheOptimizer to import from Google Analytics <br><br><em><strong>Note<\/strong>: Some metrics are preselected and can not be removed. You can add other metrics by clicking the &#8220;Add More Metrics&#8221; link<\/em>.<br><br><em><strong>Note<\/strong>: You can select max 60 different metrics, which are shared between all your linked GA4 accounts. For example if you select all 60 metrics during the first GA4 account setup, every other GA4 account that you are going to connect in the future will share the same metrics. Increasing the number of metrics is not possible<\/em><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>UTM token Mapping<\/strong>: for each traffic source macro (in this case Taboola), select which utm token you are using to pass that info back to Google Analytics 4.
