How to connect TikTok to Sedo?

TheOptimizer has direct integrations with all the major search feeds, including Sedo. Follow the steps below to connect TikTok to Sedo.

💡NOTE: If you are using a tracker like ClickFlare to track the revenue from Sedo, and have already connected ClickFlare to TheOptimizer, then you do not need to also connect Sedo. TheOptimizer will pull revenue and conversion data from your tracker (ClickFlare).

Step 1: On Account Wizard, you need to select the TikTok accounts you wish to connect to Sedo, then click on “Next“.

Step 2: On the next step, you will see a “Add new” button. If you click on it, a drop-down list with trackers and search feeds will pop up. After selecting Sedo, you will need to fill in some information regarding your account. For example, you will need to choose an account nickname, input the username & password of the Sedo account you’re trying to connect, and place your PartnerID & Signkey to finalize the process.

💡NOTE: You can find your PartnerID and Signkey by contacting Sedo support (or your Sedo account manager).

Step 3: After you have saved the above information, you will need to specify which Sedo subids you are using to pass traffic source macros back to Sedo. Here is a possible configuration:

Step 4: Once the above process is finished, you still need to update your campaign links to ensure this tracking code is present:

sub1=__CAMPAIGN_ID__&sub2=__AID__&sub3=__CID__

💡NOTE: Make sure all the traffic source macros are used in your configuration. In case one of the required traffic source macros is missing in your Sedo mapping configuration, or in your campaign tracking code, the data from Sedo for that macro will be missing in TheOptimizer.

When to use custom tracking?

If you do not have all your Sedo sub ids available, you can use our custom tracking option and pass all the required traffic source macros on a single Sedo sub id. This is how it would work:

This is the tracking code that will need to be appended to your campaign links:

sub1=__CAMPAIGN_ID__|__AID__|__CID__
